Goals

The Journal of Plastination (ISSN 2311-7761-print and ISSN 2311- 777X -online) aims to provide a medium for the publication of  scientific papers dealing with all aspects of plastination and  preservation of biological specimens. 

The Journal of Plastination is the successor of the Journal of the  International Society for Plastination. It is the peer-reviewed  publication of the International Society for Plastination  (ISP). The Journal of Plastination is published twice a year, and is  indexed on SCOPUS and Google Scholar. 

The Journal offers all who work and research in the fields of  plastination, anatomical sciences and pathology, the most current  information to succeed in their task, by publishing scholarly  activities, opinions, and resources in the fields of plastination and anatomical techniques.

Published articles focus on the use of plastination in teaching and research into human and animal  anatomy, modern techniques for preservation of tissues, and basic anatomical techniques and  tissue preservation using polymer technologies.

The Journal provides its global readership with a better understanding of teaching and learning  plastination techniques, in order to advance scientific education and research.

JOURNAL OF PLASTINATION is owned and controlled by the International Society for Plastination (ISP).
