The 21st International Conference on Plastination will be held in Istanbul, Turkey. The proposed dates of the conference are July 8-11, 2024, or July 15-18, 2024. The final decision will be made according to the result of the ballot among the members of the ISP. The conference host is Selcuk Tunali MD, PhD. Dr. Tunali is a Professor of Anatomy at the TOBB University of Economics and Technology Faculty of Medicine.
The Conference will start on Monday afternoon with the opening ceremony and special lecture. The first day will be celebrated with welcome cocktails and dinner at the Conference hotel. On Tuesday and Wednesday, the morning sessions are reserved for invited lectures and oral presentations. During the afternoon, visits will be arranged to Istanbul’s unique museums including Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Archeological Museum, and Topkapi Palace Museum. During these two days, the accompanying people will be visiting the Grand Bazaar and more museums of Istanbul. The Tuesday dinner will be at a Kumkapi tavern, where Turkish musique and cuisine meet. The Gala Dinner on Wednesday evening is planned to be on a party boat cruising the exclusive Bosphorus. The last scientific session will be on Thursday morning. The conference will close at noon on Thursday.
